"I spent four years at the University of Northern Colorado, pursuing a degree in Jazz Studies and playing in a band of my own at the same time. It was difficult and there were a lot of sleepless nights, but my love for the music and my dedication to the craft enabled me to graduate with honors and sign a record deal. During and after school, I began to tour extensively throughout the United States, seeing nearly every state several times over. During that time I got to hear my songs on the radio and in TV shows, play dream tours like the Vans Warped Tour, and get my first taste of making a living as a musician. That experience enabled me to play for other major label bands as a "hired gun." As a freelance drummer I was able to tour internationally, meet musical heroes of mine like Travis Barker, and play crazy venues like the O2 Arena in London. In 2020 I founded Angel City Drum Academy and have found a great sense of fulfillment by passing on my knowledge and passion for the drums to aspiring drummers of all ages and skill levels."

"Every week I get to teach students ranging in age from 8 to 60 years old and in skill level from complete beginner to pursuing music as a career. My students have such a wide range of musical interests, goals, etc. that I end up with a wide-reaching treasure trove of lesson materials at the end of each week.
My intention with the Drum Lesson Vault is to share those lesson materials with anyone who might find it useful. Some people enjoy to learn on their own and others aren't able to afford private lessons. I don't think learning music should be financially prohibitive and whatever your goal is with the drums, I hope this material helps get you there!"
